What’s the best thing about presenting on the Radio? Connecting with the audience, being creative but letting the experience be all about the listener.
What are your 3 favorite things? Feeling connected to God, giving and receiving love and being able to fall asleep at night (unassisted).
Name your top 3 dinner guests: He's passed already but imagine the fun of not three dinner guests but indeed a multitude of all the crazy wild and whacky personalities that the fabulous Robin Williams could bring! Granted we probably wouldn't eat much because we'd be laughing in that hard-to-breathe-delight kind of way that only he evokes but what an amazing night.
Tell us one thing that may surprise us about you: I once made tea and coffee for journalists with Sir Richard Branson in his London home and I learnt there and then that you can be a billionaire recognised globally yet always remember to be in service of others.
Other than being a radio presenter, what other job would you like to have a go at? I'd love to be a meditation guide taking people to beautiful places all around the world so that they could have a literal and a meditational journey of loveliness.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? I'm a SCUBA diver and the ocean depths fascinate me but I think I’d like to try the Yucatan Peninsula where there is a huge limestone platform as fresh water runs like rivers through underground cave systems.
What was the name of your first pet? I had an Alsatian-cross called Tara and she used to jump on my bed when I was little. We'd pretend in the morning that she'd been on the floor the whole time.
What was your nickname at school? I had three nicknames at different stages; one was Toffee because my friends thought I was sweet and they struggled to pronounce my name. Then I was known as Turbo because I was a little hyper. Later, The Able Kane. These things happen when you have an unfamiliar name.
