Coca-Cola HBC launches YouthEmpowered 2019
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) has launched its #YouthEmpowered programme for 2019! To help empower young people to achieve their career ambitions and live a fuller life, #YouthEmpowered was established two years ago on the island of Ireland by Coca-Cola HBC.
The #YouthEmpowered initiative helps support those aged 16-30 who are not in education, employment or training.
Coca-Cola HBC will equip 1,000 young people with the life skills, business skills, and mentors to empower their journey to meaningful employment and live a fuller life. Coca-Cola HBC is committed to helping to meet the needs of those young people and supporting authorities in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in achieving their objectives.
The programme provides an importance stepping stone for the over to one in ten unemployed young people on the island of Ireland who are looking for support and training that aligns with their needs and ensures they develop the tools and skills to succeed.
Q Radio presenter and musician Eoghan Quigg is a YouthEmpowered ambassdor. Find out more details on the below video.
Now in its third year, the programme has gone from strength to strength with the growth in the #YouthEmpowered Digital Hub. The digital hub offers free online training to all recent school-leavers and job seekers across the island of Ireland, opened the programme to many more.
This year, the Digital Hub will be supported by the roll-out of 10 large workshops on both sides of the border through a partnership with Youth Action NI.
Through a journey of discovery and development, we can empower our young people to succeed.
