Dungannon were beaten at home to the newly-promoted side
In last night's Danske Bank Premiership action,
Dungannon Swifts were beaten 2-1 at home to Ards in the Danske Bank Premiership last night.
That's after the newly-promoted side took advantage of a missed first-half Dungannon penalty- Ally Teggart smashing the ball off the upright early on.
Frenchman Guillame Keke gave Ards the lead, before midfielder Kyle Cherry added a second from a corner.
Andrew Burns did claw one back for Swifts in the second half, but Dungannon boss Rodney McAree will be disappointed his side couldn't get the equaliser.
That's despite Ards being down ten for some of the second half.
Elsewhere, Ballinamallard lost by the same score to Portadown.
