Tributes continue to pour in locally and across the globe for iconic footballer Diego Maradona.

The Argentinian superstar passed away on Wednesday aged 60, 15 years to the day after the death of our own all-time great George Best.

Former Glentoran and Sligo goalkeeper Alan Paterson played against Maradona when a League of Ireland team took on Argentina in 1980.
