The Champions were reduced to just 12 men in Newry last night

Holders Kilcoo have crashed to a dramatic defeat in the Down senior football championship.

They were reduced to 12 men against Burren in Newry last night and lost by 2-10 to 1-7.

Also over the weekend, Ballyholland beat Glenn while Loughinisland won against Annaclone.

Mayobridge lost to Clonduff, Bryansford beat Castlewellan and Longstone defeated Saval.

In the Intermediate Championship, St. John's had a one-point victory in their derby game against Drumaness, 17 points to 1-13.
