It follows a defeat to Linfield by the same score at the weekend

Ballinamallard were beaten 2-1 by Portadown in the Danske Bank Premiership last night.

The Ports' two goals were their first in three league outings against the Mallards.

Gavin Dykes' men went behind thanks to a Garry Breen header from a corner, but managed to get one back just after the break courtesy of a header of their own from a counter.

Mark McAllister was hand to slot home the winner for this new-look Ports side.

Ballinamallard travel back to Ferney Park where they await Ballymena on Saturday.

Crusaders moved two points clear at the top with a 4-1 victory away to Carrick Rangers.

They're the only side with a 100 pc record this season.

There was controversy at Windsor Park where substitute Aaron Burns struck late on for Linfield to snatch a 1-1 draw with Coleraine.

In the Danske Bank Women's Premiership, Sion Swifts were beaten 1-0 by Derry City Ladies.
